Wolverine 8mm is a good solution to your former film
I rated 4 stars even the quality is Reasonable merely Information technology is difficult to ascertain the image quality since 8mm films by default are low quality especially with old films after lying in a closet 40-50 years and not in a expert in condition. The Wolverine 8mm creates output files I'm glad that I can watch my sometime films that are important to me on a computer or a Telly. It's very convenient for me to watch the movies without the need for a night room and picture show projector.

The production has met my expectations.
Information technology is very time consuming converting 8mm into digital format but the results are reasonably good. Quality of the picture has a lot to do with the camera'due south and pic of the day and the picture quality has deteriorated over time. Happy with the Wolverine though and it has been working well so far. I probably would accept gone with the next model up to have the increased speed pick. Reel size is an issue as well as th Wolverine volition only take up to v" reels.

An excellent movie converter.
I had a petty glitch with it in the beginning. The actually viscous lubricant they employ on the rubber belt to creat tension to go along the film tight on the have upward reel got into the motion picture advance mechanism and caused palpitate and milkshake in the movie. It got and then bad at times that it actually stalled the mechanism. I took the dorsum comprehend off and liberally lubricated the mechanism with plastic uniform oil and afterwards a brief work in flow the unit of measurement works much better!! I've done about 20 home motion-picture show conversions so far and accept about 30 more than to do and I am very pleased with the results. The unit of measurement is a trivial pricey but in one case the bugs ( that really shouldn't be there for the cost of the thing) are worked out. Information technology's a good unit.

Slow, plodding but does the job
Got this to digitize really old family films. I accept both 8mm and Super 8 motion-picture show so this fit be neb considering it easily handles either with the slide if a switch. Similar everyone complains near, the unit is deadening taking virtually 30 minutes for a small motion picture BUT when I run across the toll for professional digitization, I'll put up with the dull, plodding recording! You tin can besides adjust the frame for recording and then you don't come across whatsoever of the square holes/feed holes in the finished version. My films are sometime with some fading and degradation so I tin't really say how adept the colors are reproduced. The one thing I really don't like is information technology but has the power to handle the modest reels or the 5 inch ones. I, unfortunately, have two larger reels, (7 inch I recall) and this tin can't handle those. I'm not certain how I'm going to get those done. Not only that just it will have forever to digitize those! Anyway, overall, it does the job I demand it to do.

I'm happy with the results. The quality of the pictures are determined by the quality of the film. Most of my films were in rough shape, but at least now I can watch them over again without having to fool with the old projector! Y'all tin edit your video with one of the many editing apps that are out there. The machine is very delicate feeling for the price. The rewind feature is slow and weak.
